There is a 30 foot class of 8 players and a 40 foot class of 16 players. The 30 foot class had several top ladies and elder men participating. The first day the top 8 seeds play the bottom 8 seeds and the 2nd day has the top 8 seeds playing against each other with the bottom 8 seeds playing against each other. This is not nearly as good as I thought I would do. I had trouble with my alignment and had only one high game (for me). I was kind of lucky that I didn't lose a couple more games the way I played. Alan Francis, Paul LaCrosse and Mandell Proctor were the only players who pitched well. Alan even struggled a bit the 2nd day. In my 3 losses the 2nd day I was actually leading all of those games when my opponents started throwing ringers and I started missing more. Even though my games looked kind of consistent they actually weren't. I had some good streaks and some bad streaks in most of my games. I guess I didn't have time to get my bad streak in my high game since it was short. Art Tyson had the highest losing game when he averaged almost 81% against Alan Francis. Walter Ray Walter Ray |
