Here is my report of the 4th day (TV show) of the PBA Storm Las Vegas Classic presented by The Castaways.

I was in the wildcard match against Patrick Allen which was the first match of the TV show. I decided that since there was 3 other right handers I probably wouldn't be able to create much of a shot with any kind of hold especially since the left lane seemed to have a 'hook' spot on it more in the middle of the lane. I was using a dull particle ball (#0183) playing around 23 on the left lane and 21 on the right lane out to about 10 with medium slow speed.

I started the match by going high with a 3-6 spare in the first frame. Patrick started striking right in the first frame. I left a weak 10 in the 3rd frame to fall 30 pins behind before throwing a double. Patrick left the 3-9 in the 4th frame and struck in the 5th and 6th. I left a light 2-8 after the commercial break for a spare and struck in the 7th. Patrick added 2 more strikes to get a 40 pin lead. I added 2 more strikes to close within 20 pins. Patrick went high in the 9th frame leaving only the 6 pin for a spare. He needed 2 strikes in the 10th to lock up the match and that is what he did to win 257-248. I bowled a pretty decent game. Patrick had the carry as he had no taps while I had the one weak 10.
