Here is my report of the 1st round of the 2006 Jackson Hewitt Open. We bowled on the cheetah pattern which is usually high scoring. I had a pretty good reaction playing around 7 at the arrows going out to around 4. After a few games the lanes seemed to be hooking a pinch early and the oil had carried down a bit so that the back ends weren't hooking quite as much. I started leaving a few light taps and then the ball would hook high when I tried to get lined up better. Fortunately I only left one split when I missed the pocket to go along with my two rip 7-10's. Hopefully I can have a similar reaction like I had in the first few games and then make the correct adjustment when the lanes start to change.
