My match against Patrick Healey Jr started out pretty good as I did a lot of striking the first 2 games. Unfortunately my reaction wasn't quite as good after that and with the oil carry down I started leaving light pocket shots. I changed balls to more aggressive ball, but still wasn't getting the reaction that I wanted or needed. At the beginning of the 6th game I switched to a really aggressive ball, but didn't make the right adjustments until I had 3 splits in a row. After that I had a pretty nice reaction, but Patrick had evened the match up. We both bowled very good last games, but taps in the wrong frames gave Patrick a 1 pin win. I bowled a pretty decent match and outscored my opponent, but losing by 1 pin works out the same as winning by 40 in this format.
