My 3rd match was against Mike DeVaney. Mike started out alright and barely won the 1st game. In the 2nd game I had the game in hand when I left the bucket (2-4-5-8). The pins were off spot and the machine kept putting the machine off spot. I finally shot at the spare which I barely made. I then proceeded to throw a really bad shot in the 10th frame leaving the 1-2-10 washout which I missed. Mike needed a spare to beat me, but he also threw a washout which he missed to give me the game. Mike never really got going after that as he struggled to hit the pocket and didn't carry very well when he did. Again I played near the 2nd arrow.
