I used a dull Awesome Finish for the 1st round. The lanes were tighter outside than they were in practice. It seemed that more inside I went, the more the ball hooked. I started the block playing 12 at the arrows going to about 6-7. The 2nd game gave me a lot of problems as the left lane hooked while the right lane was tight. I got me speed up a bit in the 4th game and ended up playing around 7-8. Even though my carry was pretty good, I didn't really get much going as I had a lot of big splits. I need to pick up the pace if I want to be in the top 8 after qualifying to skip over the first 2 matches. Most of the guys bowling well ended up hooking the ball quite a bit around the 4th - 5th arrow.
