The 4th round of the US Open didn't quite go the way I had hoped. I started out playing straight up around 7 with an Awesome Revs. Unfortunately I started with 2 bad shots and missed spares. I did manage to throw some good shots but too many bad ones. For some reason I never really got comfortable and struggled through my first 5 games. I had started to hook the ball in game 5 and in game 6 got faked out about where to play. I finished the game playing inside of the 5th arrow only to leave a solid 7 pin on a double. The next pair hooked a lot more inside. I figured that I had nothing to lose so I moved to the outside and played up 2. The ball reacted pretty decent when I threw the ball well and despite one in the channel I had my high game of the day. Unfortunately the reaction outside wasn't quite there on the last two pairs and I struggled even more. A very disappointing finish to what I was hoping was going to be a good week. A week home practicing my horseshoes and golf will hopefully get my mind where it needs to be for the last 3 tournaments.
