My first match was against Kelly Kulick. I tried playing where I did the 2nd round but my reaction was a bit different and Kelly threw the ball great the first 2 games. I decided to play where Kelly was playing in the 3rd game and she had several bad breaks with pocket splits. I had a good lead going into the 9th frame so I tried a different ball. I left a nasty split (3-4-6-7-10). I now needed a mark in the 9th or 10th frame to lock up the match. I missed the split an now needed a mark in the 10th frame. I picked up a light 7 pin to lock up the match. In the 4th game I hung up in the ball in the 4th frame leaving the 3-4-6-7-9-10 split which I missed. I took a piece of tape out and dropped the ball going into the channel the next frame. So I changed to a different ball playing much straighter. Kelly ended up leaving a rip 7-10 in the 8th frame and a 10 pin in the 10th to give me a chance to win the game. I struck out to win the game. I shot 279 and 290 the next two games to win the match.
