In the 2nd round I started with a LevRG (1047) playing fairly straight up 6 with a lot of speed. My reaction wasn't too bad and stayed with that for several games. However in my 4th game of the evening I was having trouble and was looking for a better reaction moving a bit left and trying to hook the ball a bit more. In the 5th game I switched to my Nsane LevRG (1060) and moved left and slowed down so that I was hooking the ball from 12 out to around 5. I played the lanes like that the rest of the evening and shot 689 for my last 3 games to make the cut. In the morning session I was very fortunate having 7 strikes when I missed the pocket.
Even though I hit the pocket many more times in the evening I didn't score as well. I am pretty sure that I need to score much better in my matches. My round of 32 match is against Edward VanDaniker Jr. who is bowling very well working his way out of the TQR's in several tournaments so far this season
