My next match was against Ken Simard who I have been bowling against for many years in the Southern Regional tournaments. He throws a very strong ball with a lot of speed. I started out great using my LevRG 1047 playing outside of the 1st arrow. But when the lanes started to break down I kind of lost the reaction I had and Ken had a great reaction to the pocket similar to how Wes Malott played the lanes on TV. In the 5th game I switched to my LevRG 1151 and moved closer to the 2nd arrow. I was very fortunate to win the match as Ken kept getting tapped while I was striking almost every time I hit the pocket.
